The WorldEthicForum (WEFo) would like to invite a visual artist, illustrator or graphic designer to be our artist-in-residence, ideally for the duration of the next few years. This would involve attuning to the WEFo, its values and people (we will provide guidance here) and being present at the Forum in Pontresina between August 28th and September 1st 2024, and future in-person events.
As resident artist, you will interpret elements of the WEFo process, creating visuals that can help to transmit WEFo qualities and its findings to a growing audience. Images will be used on our website, social media and promotional materials, as well as in publications and other content-sharing elements.
If this calls your interest and you find that you are in tune with our intention to create radically shared aliveness, please contact us with a link to some of your work.
Timeline: Starting visuals in March / April and onwards(remote). In person meet 28th August to 1st September. Post event processing September / October (remote). We are keen to co-shape this process with you and look forward to refine the collaboration and ideas together.
Location: Artist can be from the area of Pontresina or its surroundings and / or have a connection to mountainous landscape.
What we offer: Travel, accommodation, catering and material costs during the in-person event as well as a small stipend.
Please apply by latest March 15th via greta.pace-buch@worldethicforum.com. We will be reviewing applications as they come in and will reply to all submissions.
We look forward hearing from you or people you might think of in your network.
Warm regards,
The WorldEthicForum team
About Us: The WorldEthicForum (WEFo) is an emerging ecology for a worldview of interconnectedness and interbeing. We are in a several-year process, inquiring into how we co-create an embodied culture rooted in shared responsibility and life-affirming relationship with ourselves, each other and the earth (a culture of care and kinship). Building on this experience and findings, we are creating a decentralised campus that will serve as a knowledge, wisdom and resource hub.
